If an SEC team wins the title, they will have, most likely, beaten 3 top 5s in a row. That would be pretty damn strong.
ETA: SEC champ. could be against top 10. Still.

One of your Tiger brothers had the following to say in the initial poll thread; so you should prob only categorize 6 teams as ranked:

Amway Coaches Preseason Poll Alabama #2 Auburn #5 Arkansas (NR)
I am surprised that A&M is ranked. They seemed fit for a recieving votes placement.

I feel like this will be the best and most competitive season of CFB we've had in a long time. There's so much parity and any team can win/lose on any give Saturday. I'm pumped no matter what the outcome

Surprised A&M is ranked as well... we are after all projected to finish next to last in the SEC West by the "experts"

quote:The funny part is you are trying to act like people are stupid for saying anything but postseason polls count after Bama fans have been wanting to count preseason polls all week.
Only polls at the end of the season count, right?

The unknown adds to the excitement and will likely level the playing field. We're assuming that the respective QB's can step in and lead their teams to double digit wins but it's will be months before we know

And three of our games are against top 10 teams--each one on the road
(though I wouldn't want it any other way).

quote:Impressive as hell. South Carolina beat two last year. I wonder how many teams have beaten multiple BCS bowl winners in a season. I'd bet it's pretty rare.
You're gonna need to beat 3 BCS bowl winners in one season to really sniff 2011 LSU schedule.

LSU would have been even tougher in 2011 if Auburn didn't suck donkey balls

Are we at the end of the season?

Also, counting Bama seems like a bit of a stretch since the BCS bowl game they won was against you
So beating the eventual national champion on the road at their home shouldn't count?
You might actually be a Bama fan.
