Spin, spin, spin...this was a UGA recruit with a UGA scholarship offer at a UGA camp stealing from UGA students.
Auburn was no involved with this kid.
Didn't he arrive at Auburn the next day?

Coach Craig seems like a stand up guy with excellent character judgement skills.

Pot arrest recently says he is probably still not seeing the error in his ways. Those Wilcox County boys aren't known for being kids of high moral standards unfortunately.
Please offer a link to this arrest you speak of.

UGA just has harsher penalties on current players.

Thank God AU is taking a stance and didn't recruit this guy from the beginning.

jaysus. This devolves to an Auburn thread because a kid both teams recruited stole stuff in ATHENS?
Thats a legal problem for the kid and I am sure a termination of interest by Georgia. Where AU fits in there I dont see.
Seriously, with the nate craig commit, I dont see Auburn recruiting this kid any more.

Pretty sure I seen several post by AU members that there was no interest in Tray Matthews as well. Basically, what everyone assumes is that Auburn will take on about anyone if they can play football. Just accept it and move on.

I don't think young Darnell would have engaged in these activities in a city other than Athens. There are clearly bad influences there. Violence, theft, and drugs run amuck in that program.
It's just the culture Richt has put in place. It garners results, but at what cost?

Coming from a UT fan that should be taken as a compliment.

That a thug stole stuff at UGA and we will be retracting our offer?

I realize it's a running joke to rag on Auburn when a recruit gets in trouble because we are able to bring them in and turn around their career, but does anyone else find it funny that the incident occurred on Georgia's campus?
Knowing that, I'm not sure how this turned into an Auburn flame thread.
