He also talked about how Brandon Allen had an AMAZING offseason so I hope he's not just saying that either

I do not see how anyone could meltdown over anything he said today, but I do see "." added to the end of tweets after words that did not end the statement being made, the words omitted drastically change the context of what was said...

He just has a Yankee way of expressing things and it will always rub some people the wrong way.

"For my formula to work you have to play good offensively, defensively and special teams."
He such an innovative coach

I'm just glad that there were no references to A.J. Derby having some major offensive role such as being in charge of executing trick plays for the season.

And?
Every year under Petrino would have been better if his teams played better Defense and Special teams.
Nutt would have won the SEC a couple time if he had the special teams to go along with his teams that did play good offense and defense.
He isn't going to focus on only one side of the ball or one phase of the game like coaches we have had in the past.

Thought Bert was great today. Looking forward to the season.

He did say AJ will still be taking some QB snaps but focus the majority at TE. Guess he will be the emergency QB. Sounded like he thinks he will have a big year at TE though.

As long as it is not a hook and lateral that will be okay.

That or they have a trick play package since anytime AJ is in the game, you have "two QBs" on the field.
Double pass, etc, no different than any other coach has done when they have a guy who can play at a receiving position who can also throw the ball.
