Vandy fans travel better. But then, they have more to cheer about.

obvious troll, but no they don't. vandy had the worst stadium capacity percentage of tickets sold for their home games last year of anyone in the sec, and that was their best season in school history. as bad as tennessee is, people saying they don't have a loyal fanbase are either ignorant or 12 years old. tennessee brought over 10k people to eugene oregon last year in a game they knew they had no shot at even keeping competitive.

So your AD gave a 3 day period, basically one weekend, for UT fans to buy tickets for a game 3 months from now?

Well, they're slipping. Now they can't even sell their allotment to an away game at Georgia.

No... We sent you your 8500 allotment, then y'all do with them what you will & y'all sent some of them back. I'm assuming your AD has a pretty good handle on how many they'll sell so they sent back what they were sure wouldn't sell....

Truthfully tho it wasn't announced how many became available, it just stated that it was a limited number of tickets....

For the record, I'm sure it was more than a 3 day period. But, don't act like it was much more than that.

ETA: And to stop selling them in the middle of July?

They brought over 10K to Eugene, but couldn't even bring half of that to BDS last year?

They still had hope for some vol miracle in Eugene. After that game, though -

Why would UT have to return their allotment already? It doesn't make any sense. UF won't sell the other schools allotment until the week of the game.

Just curious, are you a season ticket holder? If so for how long? What kind of yearly donation do you make? It's possible that the email you got was last attempt to sell tickets before giving them back.

The UT AD returned them. These are the same folks that hired D. Dooley, so I wouldn't waste a whole lot of time trying to make sense out of it.
