Greg McElroy says Ole Miss has legit shot at West

I have to say- I agree. If they're ever going to make a serious run, this is the year. Wallace is a steady QB (sad to say he's given us FITS the last couple of years )....and the defense has real talent. Not sure why they're being overlooked by most of the "experts".
Now having said that, come October 25th in Tiger Stadium....

They have a good chance this year.
Top 3 for sure

McElroy is basically the Einstein of college quarterbacks. Seems legit.

With some good fortune and avoidance of key injuries Ole Miss can contend this year.
Schedule sets up nicely, lots of returning starters, senior QB, Conner/RN/Treadwell/Tunsil all have a year under their belt now.
I still think 8/4 and 9-3 is most likely. Hell, we could be better in 2015 even without Dr. Bro Wallace...

Thank you, kind sir. Tired of people calling Ole Miss fans crazy because one year since 09, we think we have a shot. Our 1-deep can run with anybody in the country...it's just avoiding injuries.

If we do win the west/SEC does that mean the end is near?

If we had some depth at o-line, I would agree. That's a major concern for me but if we can have incredible luck by having no injuries, we might finish in the top 3

But did he properly give Saban credit for their recent success?

Yes...and if we make it to the playoffs and are winning the title game, the world will end with 5 seconds left on the game clock.

Miss St might be the sleeper in the West this year. They may not win the division, but I look for them to make some noise.

I think State and Ole Miss will both score an upset, and both will be upset by someone else preventing a trip to Atlanta.
I won't be shocked if they both beat Auburn.

Shocker that an Alabama fan thinks they will beat Auburn.

Freeze has done a bang-up job since he arrived in Oxford- that can't be denied. I think he's got you guys on the right track.

Personally, I can't wait for the Ole Miss game at Kyle. Should be another barnburner.

I hate OM but they are going to be legit this year.
Hugh just needs to learn how to call something other than WR screens.

I think a lot of that last year was due to Bo's injury. He seemed to throw it deep a lot more the year before.

Greg McElroy threw a pass when standing 5 yards past the line of scrimmage during an NFL game.
