I am planning to visit Miss. State and either UGA or Ole Miss this year. Can any State fans give me the run down on anything to do? Also any good places to find tickets?
There is a chance that Bulldog Bash could be this weekend, though more than likely will be Texas A&M. It is always a good time.

Just googled Rebel5 AC. I guess he uses that screen name for several sites.

Mississippi state is taking an unfair beating in this thread. I had a really good time went I went to Starkville a few years ago and that was before the stadium expansion. The atmosphere is actually pretty good and everyone was real nice when we were there.
If you're taking a trip to an SEC town for a football game then the football game will probably be the highlight of the trip unless it's Athens or Oxford or Nashville.

If you can come up with anything remotely close to DM4L, you'll be doing a great job.
Also, you're all about bourbon and fat chicks, so include those in there too.

I will agree that Starkville has worked hard to improve the game day and is still a work in progress. The Cotton District at least exists now and some other places around town. I think the Downtown area should take more advantage of game day though. The Junction at least now gives MSU a place for tailgating. They are still building traditions there, but it is much better than when Templeton just sat on his hands and really was not doing anything for game day atmosphere. Of course if they are in a close game, they will be a very loud crowd with the cowbells. They really need to work on the jumbotron ads though. I think most state fans I know hate all the cheesy commercials that play throughout the game.

I love how everyone is saying how bad Starkville is, but has yet to give a reason why they hated it. Y'alls experience probably has more to do with your cheesedick personality than the city itself.

I stopped in Columbia on my way to Omaha to check out their stadium. It wasn't much to look at, but I'm sure the expansion will help.
Also, their baseball stadium is small but nice IMO.
