You are an athletic director in the SEC. Who do you pick to be your head coach?

Plus he showed he could win at SC, but he had the better job between the two while in the SEC and failed.

Ed. He at least recruited his arse off and worked to improve facilities. Curley did absolutely nothing well.

Well that's not really is it. Curley did intercept Stabler a couple times in the 1968 Cotton Bowl helping the Ags and Gene Stallings beat the Taaahd.

Not true. No college coach ever slayed more cheerleader poon before or since than CCH.

And no, I still don't find that funny.

Ed and it's not even close. Curley left LSU in horrible shape. Nutt was given the keys to a porsche

Curley went 2-9 at LSU one year. Let that sink in. Then followed it up the following year with the worst loss in LSU history (58-3 @ home to UF)

Still amazed he didn't get fired after going 2-9

If the question is hiring Curley Hallman, or any other coach in the history of all sports, the answer should never be Curley Hallman.
