Why do you have to pay extra and go through silly hoops to grow organic, while GMO farms get free money in the form of subsidies?
You don't numb nuts. You're paying more for 'organic' because the guy who grew it lost half his 1 acre plot to an easily prevented parasite, on top of his total yield already being lower because his 'heirloom' seed had actually adapted to the area it was produced and sucks in his zone.

There is near total scientific consensus that food derived from or using GMOs are safe.
Nothing to see here.

Cargill
Their sales reps treated me to a nice steak dinner recently. I also have about 8 free hats and a knife from them
They make exceptional catfish feed for hatcheries

Comparatively wealthy white people trying to make it more expensive for poor people to eat. Typical liberal logic.

And why, do these big biotech companies make farmers purchase seeds every year, when crops naturally leave seeds for the next season?
Efficiency. Have you ever seen a field after harvest when the leftover seeds sprout before the first frost? It's a clusterfrick and you have maybe half of the plants that you would have when you till the soil and plant them in rows.

Why would anyone waste millions of dollars on research to make a plant that is inferior in every way?
It's those fricking Leviathans and Dick Roman trying to make the population fat and complacent so they can eat us at will.

This (and everything in your post) isn't true at all, but I'm sure no matter what you'll believe it.
Well since he has worked on catfish farms a good portion of his life and owns his own farm, I'd say it's safe to say he knows exponentially more about farming than some random person on the internet does.

I worked at Firehouse Subs in high school and there was an Arby's next door. Every time the owner came around, he would tell the customers, workers, really anyone who would listen that the roast beef at Arby's isn't roast beef. It's a synthetic gel that hardens into a beef-like substance. I've never investigated further but it sounds like misinformation. And to be honest, I believe that he believes that Arby's is one big fraud. But if a farmer that doesn't use new technology starts telling me about how the high tech farms' food will kill you, I'll take it with a grain of salt.

That might literally be the stupidest thing I've heard.

The video was pretty dark so I couldn't see what the impressions on the gel he was making. The Snopes article makes it sound like that's just some juicy solution it's kept in to keep it moist. To be honest even if it were some gel thing, I like it enough to still order it from time to time

It barely looked like he touched it.
I honestly consider Arby's to be one of the healthier fast food options available. Them and chick-fil-a aren't bad at all (as long as you skip the fries).
Roast Beef max is my jam.

It's is scary that you think this is true.
Efficiency, are you kidding me?
They make them purchase seeds every year to profit, it has nothing to do with efficiency for the farmer.
