He left him seniors like Sean Porter, Jonathan Stewart, and Spencer Nealy. Add in junior (and eventual early draft entrant) Damontre Moore, and yes, there was some talent for Snyder to work with.

So I guess this statement you made is false:

Mike Sherman left a lot of offensive firepower to Kevin Sumlin, but almost none on defense.

That word, it doesn't mean what you think it me as, obviously.

If you can't differentiate that we had talent for more than one year on the offensive side of the ball compared to the defensive side of the ball, then you are dumber than I posted earlier.

No, Sherman left nothing on defense outside of the seniors for the 2012 season. Which is why Sumlin had a good defense with those players and a rough one having to play true freshman all over the place.

No. I didn't say he left Sumlin NO defensive firepower, I said he left him almost none. But I presume from your decision to follow this pedantic line of objection, you've acknowledged my main point, which is that when Snyder had some talent to work with in 2012, he fielded a pretty good defense.
