Is it true though?

As I expected, it's not true. Not even close.

I just looked up the final SOS rankings in 4 BCS computers for FSU (2013) and Bama (2011).

SOS rankings were as follows:

A&H

FSU - 40
Bama - 7

Colley

FSU - 63
Bama - 16

Sagarin

FSU - 62
Bama - 15

Massey

FSU - 34
Bama - 2

Average

FSU - 50th
Bama - 10th

Pretty clear that Bama did not have the worst SOS of any BCS champion. Nice sound bite though. It's a lie, but most people don't really verify anything for themselves anymore, so you'll have some people believing you just because you threw it out there.

It's not their fault. They didn't know those teams were going to suck when they schedule the games years in advance. Amirite bama fans?

Prior to the Championship game they beat 3... Just 3 teams that finished the season with a +.500 record.

21-0 still hurts doesn't it?

The only true way to gauge this, is to see what the scheduled opponents rankings/records were in the years prior to the contract.

No one has provided this correct and useful analysis, until they do so, judgment is subjective to the individuals biased perception

Yeah, but if they do, then they become hypocrites for mocking Alabama for scheduling West Virginia.

Kent State 5-7 (4-4)
Penn State 9-4 (6-2) not fricking bad
North Texas 5-7 (4-4)
Arkansas 11-2 (6-2) not fricking bad
Florida 7-6 (3-5)
Vanderbilt 6-6 (2-6)
Ole Miss 2-10 (0-8)
Tennessee 5-7 (1-7)
LSU 13-0 (8-0) Yes, Jesus Christ we know, 21-0.
Mississippi State 7-6 (2-6)
Georgia Southern (FCS) 11-3 (7-1)
Auburn 8-5 (4-4)

You do have to pardon me, I forgot completely that Florida and Moo state won their bowl games against Michigan and Ohio state. So never mind, beating 5 teams that finish the season with winning records is much better than the for mentioned 3.

You going to acknowledge that this statement is complete BS that you just made up on the fly with no factual support?

Funny. You included everybody's final record except for LSU's.

LSU 13-1

There. FIFY

Also, Arkansas' only loses were to Alabama & LSU and was ranked #3.

Since this has now been proven false by every available metric I'd like to ask you how that knowledge bomb felt, and if you habitually spout bull shite or if this was just an exception fueled by a painful memory?

Easiest schedule of all time would probably be Penn State pre B1G when they feasted on all those Eastern creampuffs.

Without those walkover schedules year after year it's doubtful they would be as highly regarded as they are now.
