And he has yet to bark. Is this common? Is something wrong with him?

What type of dog is it? I swear it felt like I didn't hear my lab bark for the first few months I owned her.

What kind of puppy?
I have a Boston terrier and he hasn't barked 20 times in his life. 90% of his barks are when you awaken him and he's not sure where he's at.

My sisters bulldog didnt bark until something like 4 months. I wouldn't worry.

He's only three months but we haven't had a puppy in our house in a while and I was just curious if it was a common thing or not.
Seems more common than I would've imagined though

My kids have drove me crazy for a dog for years. Everytime they do, I get my friends small dog for a week and keep it.
Works every time
Still no dog and I like it

Does it whimper and whine? My boxer didn't bark until he was 3 or 4 months old, but he would do this yelp while trying to bark.

I've got a 3 and a half month old bulldog and he didn't bark at all until he met my mother's dachshund. He doesn't bark much, only when someone is at the door. It's not like an alert either...He wants to go play with the person.
Worst guard dog ever.

I've been around dogs all of my life and I can tell you that not barking is normal in the first few months. They probably can but just don't have a reason for it. You're doing a great job with your pup. He's satisfied and just doesn't feel the need to speak up yet.

Puppy!
He's about 30lbs at 3 months. Huge paws. Vet thinks he'll hit 80 when he's grown.

Sweet pup, I have a Lab/Red Tick coonhound mix as well.
fricker didn't start barking till he was a year old, new neighbor dogs influence. He still isn't much of a barker, however when he's excited or wants something he does this wookie call/whine thing thats long and drawn out.

I have feeling he will be the same. He's whined a little. No howling yet though.
