Julius Randle said rumors he is leaving for the NBA are for now false because he has not discussed it with his family or made up his own mind...
I would love to see him play one more but I think he is gone...

He is a top 3 pick, he will be gone. So will 1-5 others.

Randle, Young, the Harrisons, Dakari, and Cauley-Stein= GONE
I think the Harrisons performance in the tourney is what will ultimately push them to the league

That is what I would expect too. We heard the same from Jeremy Hill, Jarvis Landry, and Odell Beckham for about a week after the bowls were over...
I will say I have been daydreaming about these guys staying for another year to get a championship. I don't see Randle improving his draft stock much unless he would rise to the top pick. The others all could improve a good bit with another year.

Dakari
I don't think so on this one. The others I would not argue. However, I never thought Daniel Orton would have left after one year as a reserve either. Go figure...

Yep, dumb for him to pro-long getting to that 2nd NBA contract and risk injury and/or having a slump hurting his draft stock (WCS).

He was probably referring to his only having 110 blocked shots this year...

Just thought the example was odd. If WCS leaves he is a lottery pick, which is better than what he was last year.

If he didn't get hurt

I keep hearing that but I am not buying that. I do believe he could go first or second round but not that high.

He is usually in 12-20 range. Here is what was said about him on KSR earlier.

Probably the biggest news I found out today that surprised me a bit is that Willie is heavily considering returning to Kentucky. The scope of injury is enough that he probably won’t be able to work out during the Draft process and unlike with Nerlens Noel last year, that will hinder Willie. He will be unable to fix any concerns about his health and this could cause a drop in stock of some major degree. Plus, Willie likes being at Kentucky and enjoys his time in college, and isn’t in quite the rush that others are to get the NBA money. Most had assumed a couple of weeks ago that he was all but assured to enter the Draft, but apparently the last couple of weeks have raised some doubt in Willie’s mind and there is now a belief that me might decide to come back for his Junior year. I still think he will likely declare for the NBA, but now I think it is a very close call for Willie and he could be the surprise return that no one saw coming.

That is about where he was last year, I believe he got as high as 10th in some projections.
He stood a good chance of improving his stock being "the guy" instead of the guy behind Noel.
No way you tell a guy who is a top 5 pick to come back to school in today's landscape of the game.

According to a UK players parent, Cal get his top picks to early enroll and take 6 hrs in summer and 6 hrs in fall. This makes them "full time students" and eligible to play. They take zero classes in spring and therefore would be in eligible for the next season....they are GONE! (Unless a player went against the Cal schooling schedule and took classes)

What a fantastic problem Kentucky has on it's hands.

This would be genius if we hadn't of had guys come back who would've been "top picks" when they would've started this schedule, like Terrence Jones or Doron Lamb. It's not like he hasn't had guys return. And been eligible.
I wouldn't be surprised if they set up their easier courses in the spring or did online courses though.
