That immediately came to mind to me too. Another one that i recall is the season opener Nutt's first year when a kid from Samford broke his leg making a cut. Just snapped in two. Looked so brutal on the big board.

It was so unexpected, the Jordan Matthews one. It's the only time I remember a camera going in for a close-up and the player puking.

That and Prothro were about the worst I've seen on the football end.
UofL's Michael Bush breaking his leg vs. UK is another that wasn't pretty. This is probably the tamest I've seen of the pics.
On the basketball end, Noel's torn ACL was pretty nasty too.
