Eh I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the big catch and run he broke off in 09 came when Peterson was on the sideline.
And that's why in the pregame hype video that play is always paired with "endurance"

Eta: maybe Pat Peterson is a better answer, since he was 1-2 against bama and Julio averaged over 100 ypg receiving in his 3 games with lsu. Yea, I'll change my answer to Peterson.
It was a good rivalry to watch but i would say a lot more even than you think
2008-Patrick Peterson didn't start till the troy Game
2009- Julio got 73 yards with PP7, and PP7 got robbed of a pick (never forget) before that he wad 3 catches for 29 yards.
2010- This one could go either way, and was fun to watch. Julio had good stats 10 catches 89 yards 1 td, but that was a lot of underneath stuff, which PP& was willing to allow to avoid bigger gains.

Yes you are a loser, but I still like you. Also there has been no proof to the contrary.

I agree with you, Mathieu didn't have a huge impact against Bama in his career. I don't get why that's hard for people to admit.

so I'd say we did well against the mighty honey badger, he never took over a game against Alabama like he did to others
your using a pretty low standard for well, if you think it means he didn't dominate you and your defense won a game for y'all.

Not sure if already mentioned (I am bored but not reading through 5 pages without pictures).....
Emmitt Smith never went over 100 yards rushing in three tries against Auburn.

So... does Gus "Debo" Muschamp's nick name now?
I think he should IMO.
Your sig pic made me think of this.

Aaron Wallace
John Roper
Lester Hayes
Bubba Bean
Curtis Dickey
Kevin Murray
Richmond Webb
Tony Franklin
Ray Childress
Darren Lewis
Luke Joeckel
Ryan Swope

That's sarcasm, right? His freshman and particularly his sophomore games against UGA gave Murray PTSD.
For USC, Boyd, Watkins, Murray. As good as he was against Florida, Jarvis Jones was absolutely invisible against Carolina, and never won a game.

Julio got the better of him in their college careers. Maybe the only guy that can say that. He caught a 24 yard comeback right in front of Peterson on the first play of our first possession of overtime that set up the QB sneak for the win. Also remember him beating Peterson on a slant for a TD in '10.
Just saying, we didn't have trouble with Mathieu or Peterson. Claiborne on the other hand seemed to have AJ's number

Sammy Watkins has 0 TDs against us in 3 tries.
eta: Murray had some pretty damn good stats against us in his 4 years but only had a 1-3 record. Not really his fault though.

which = 1 of 4 times he's won a game against us, and 1 of 4 times he's left the game with clean britches...
75% is consistent enough for me....

was 2-1 vs bama..and McCarron didn't throw a single TD in either game of 2011
I think the poster was getting at the fact that Matthieu was pretty quiet in both 2011 matchups. He was a force to be reckoned with on Special Teams and defense, yet he did not score or force any turnovers versus Alabama in 2011.

I'm actually with UGA fans on this one. We have the 3-1 record vs Murray which is the important thing. But he played good his FS year considering the circumstance and played really well in 2011 but ultimately came up short (though he did have that big fumble at the end)
He did well vs us, but it was mainly UGA's defense and a dominating Lattimore that cost UGA under Murray.
