I dont know enough about his whole siuation to make a decision one way or the other. I'd support it if our coaches were all for it.

wasn't this his second strike..I vote no and not sure there is a position besides ST that he could crack into the rotation on

No, because he wasn't very good.

No, he wasn't even that good when he was on the team.

Not in the least bit. He might deserve another chance (not saying he does), but not at Alabama.

We should have let him stick with his Auburn commitment.

I don't see how he'd have eligibility. He acted on a tv show, playing "the heisman winner from Alabama". No way he's eligible after that

Of the players arrested, Calloway is the one that I'd want back the most simply on the basis that he wasn't involved in the actual robbery.
I guess the "no"-sayers in here are against Pettway's return as well. I am against any of the players returning though. I think they deserve second chances somewhere else.
From the standpoint of what he can contribute to the team, I think he'd just be wasting a roster spot

He has two years of eligibility left. If he is willing to walk-on for the first year and Saban wanted him back then I would be fine with it. His crimes were of the douchey nature not the "never forgive" nature.
He ain't getting a scholarship at Bama to play special teams and be OJ's backup though.

I wasn't crazy about Pettway returning, but I'm saying no strictly because Calloway wasn't that good of a football player.

I don't have a huge issue with Pettaway. I trust the coaches in his matter. I guess even with Callaway but in the article, I wasn't thrilled with the comments he has about his time at Western Arizona. It just does not sound to me he has matured enough

As a walk-on, maybe. Scholarship player? No.

Why not...everyone deserves a second chance. Pettway was allowed back, why not this kid?

Pettway is a better football player.
