So a 55-34 Jones is better than a 165-57-1 Saban with 4 National Titles?
Can you comprehend written words?

didn't realize that since I thought he was just measuring sec success. but still 26-27 pieces of data aren't a significant enough sample here. especially since malzahn's career has so much variance among the expected outcomes in all of his games. (ark st.-oregon, auburn-cupcakes, auburn-alabama, etc.)

It includes his entire head coaching career. Not just at Auburn.
No...not both years?!? Even the one spent at a lower tier school against non-SEC competition? That completely undercuts the objections.

frick I wish Mizzou had the great Butch Jones, but we're stuck with stupid Pinkel :(

I'm connecting the dots that you say he is using a coaches body of work for his ranking. He says Butch Jones is higher than Saban. Maybe you shouldn't take things so personally.
It's time to step away from the computer. You seem very mad at a simple statement towards the writer of this article.
Oh and with the personal attack about my reading comprehension. This place just amazes me. Keep up the good work bud. You are an elite internet warrior.
Nice edit by the way.

You hate the rankings. I didn't do them. I don't fricking care what you think.
All I did was correct Lobster on his false statement.
There you go sport. Random bolding for your comprehension.

Malzahn may be good, he may be another Terry Bowden, who was undefeated his first season. Too early to tell.

You corrected it as if it meant anything substantial. And your "random" bolding is highly inefficient. You should work on going with a large enough sample size to get words like "fricking" and "sport" bolded for better emphasis.

Good stuff.
Saban is pretty average coch, but with the rec paying top dollar and getting the recruits, he wins.
Pretty simple stuff. Have to laugh at all the talking heads that liketo talk sabans awesome coaching. We saw how awesome he was his first season at bama and at mich state.

Same at LSU. Once he has a competitive advantage in talent on his roster he's near unstoppable. I don't blame him, he has a system that works and knows what he needs to implement it. However, he's not the best game day coach

On the contrary, Mark Richt has not lost control of his coaching abilities, coming in at a solid 4th overall in the conference.
This is the part that interests me. I've only seen this quasi-meme around these parts. Where did it actually start?

Good list. I don't see how you can't rank Sumlin over Les. Since Sumlin has been at A&M, he has the same amount of wins as Les, more top 5 finishes, more bowl wins, more wins against Alabama, and more wins against Ole Miss. Sumlin did this with a bunch of Big 12 recruits. Les had an armory of 4 and 5 stars coming off a National Championship Game appearance. It's obvious tDecline is real, and Les is a big part of it.
Maths not your strong suite, or you are an idiot!

As if it meant anything substantial? Those two complete sentences that took a whopping 11 total words was me making a "substantial" claim to argue with Lobster about the rankings? Really? Did I interject my opinion on the matter in those 11 words? Did I try and start an argument with his opinion in those 11 words? No? I just pointed out a fact he missed?

I love how bammers like you write off Malzahn's success as luck but ignore all the luck Saban has received over the years like backing into championship game without winning the west, injury to Colt McCoy, and last second victories over Auburn and Tennessee in 2009. Saban could have as little as one or even zero championships without luck on his side

Nice use of stats. I see what you did there.
How about this:
I don't see how you can't rank Les Miles over Sumlin. Since Sumlin has been at A&M, Les has the same amount of wins, more top 15 finishes, more 10 win seasons, more wins against Florida, more wins against Auburn, more wins against ranked teams, and never lost to Sumlin. All this while Sumlin had the golden child Manziel.
Yup, tDecline is sooo real. This is fun.

That was a different Vandy fan. And you call us out for "reading comprehension." You should maybe edit that.
Also, half your sentences in the not edited part should end in periods, not question marks. Shouldn't call people out for grammar.

Teams can't just be good. Almost every year luck has to play a factor in same way, shape, or form.
Yea the hail mary was lucky, but it was an amazing adjustment by Louis as well.
Saban made a mistake kicking the ball with his field goal team out there, with a freshman kicker. Against Davis.
