Although I only have 945 posts in a little over 18 years.... For most things Tigerdroppings I've seen it all.
Because dying for ones' country is the ultimate sacrifice, not killing someone else.

I see you don't know but kneeling during anthem is a sign of respect for the fallen soldiers, it's just politicized for the wrong reason,it is not disrespectful, stop watching FOX and actually speak to a soldier and learn

WTF is this? 23 years in the Army, and still serving and I have never heard, seen, or done this. Great, I've been on Tigerdroppings for over 17 years, and average about 50 posts a year. I had to use up one of my 50 posts to reply to your shitty take. I've seen some dumb shite in my time, but this takes the cake :banghead:
The letter that looks like an x is a z. The word is "zum" which basically means "to the"

I thinks it says "Warm or cordial greetings for christmas and to the new year.". Or something close to that.

Your friend is exaggerating. Need a mask everywhere in Chicagoland area. Definitely not done. Chicago still has a quarantine requirement if you travel from 18 states.

re: Who are the world super powers?

Need to factor the Instruments of National Power(DIME)

Diplomacy
Informational
Military
Economic

All factor into whether a nation can be classified as a Superpower.

22 years in the Army so far, and have been stationed at Nine different installations.

Ft. Carson
Ft. Polk
Ft. Knox
Camp Hovey, Korea
ROTC at University of Texas at Arlington
Ft. Bliss
Vilseck, Germany
Ft. Benning
and currently at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill.

favorite has been Vilseck, Germany with Fort Carson a close second
Because only 1% of the population volunteers to serve, not every "random" person.

Europe you say.

looks like Britain is pausing death toll data collection
quote:

over concerns the toll might have been exaggerated.

and

quote:

patients who tested positive for coronavirus, but were successfully treated, would still be counted as dying from the virus “even if they had a heart attack or were run over by a bus three months later”.

looks like they are experiencing a lot of the same fraudulent and mismanaged data collection and analysis we are.

look we aren't perfect, but to portray Europe as the model can be dangerous.

Do you agree then we should "Look to Europe" and open all schools full time like the majority of Europe? Or do you only agree with things that fit your narrative?

Technically the Eagle on the t shirt is facing left, since in heraldry, direction is always based on the object (the eagle not the viewer's perspective.)

So "Trump's" t shirt is the same as what was used as the presidential seal in use until 1945, after which the eagle was changed to face it's right. (Now the eagle looks toward the olive branch clasped in it's right claw rather than the arrows that are clasped in it's left.)

President Hayes used a presidential seal with the eagle facing to it's left, and remained like this until Truman changed it so unless the Nazi's eagle pre dates this, which of course it doesn't then there is nothing to see here.

Strange how you said Trump's is "like the Nazi's" when in reality, ours came first.

Chewed the same dirt. Kunar and Nuristan for me. When were you there Ole War Skule?
I didn't hear That GEN Milley was now the responsible for the national response to rioting. What did she say that made you assume that?

I heard GEN Milley among others, were at a meeting with the President, since his role as the COTJCS is as the principal military advisor to the President, the National Security Council, the Homeland Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense.

15 States have activated their National Guards, I think he is the most qualified individual to advise the President on these matters, don't you think?
He's a blowhard. Better to ignore him.

You're right Clames. He doesn't have a clue.
The Stop Movement pertains to Government Funded travel.

"All DoD service members and civilians, and their family members will stop all official travel – such as Permanent Change of Station or Temporary Duty..."

The restrictive leave policy pertains to Service Members only. The DoD cannot instruct a private citizen (i.e. Family Member) where they can and cannot go.

Please don't blow this out of proportion. We (Military Members) have restriction of movement orders placed on us all the time. Some of you seem to be losing control of yourselves.
