Serious question UK fans regarding the Harrison twins

This is not meant to be a flame whatsoever, but what makes them such great 'talents'? Coming out of high school they were top 5-10 players. I've watched some of ya'lls games this year, and I just don't see it.
WCS and Randle are straight bad asses and young is a great role player but I just don't see the Harrison kids. They're not crazy athletic, they aren't great shooters and they seem to turn the ball over a lot. Also, they don't play great D.
So what makes them so good, or am I completely missing something?

I would take Trevor Releford over either one of them. Every.Single.Day.

That is them.
Just another example of over-rated Texas talent.

Great HS talent doesn't always equate to great college talent, at least not as freshmen anyway.

Well he's probably in the running for SEC POY so I would hope so.
And they were overrated coming out of HS. They can both be great players if they develop their defense. The length and athleticism is there. Their heads tend to get in the way though.
But they'd probably still get significant PT on most teams in this conference and a few others.

I wondered the same thing..
They're not better than Ennis at Syracuse...not even close.

He wont get it because he plays for Alabama. On a lot of SEC teams he would be the frontrunner for it IMO. I feel bad for such a talented player playing on such as bad team.

Well, considering few have an opportunity to watch these players in HS, you have the hype to go by and the twins were hyped.
Wiggins has also failed to live up to the hype, only because they hype had people thinking he was a 40 point a game type player coming in...

Length, for guards, yes. They have great length and handles for how big they are.
Athleticism, no. They're not athletic at all imo.

They aren't very good. I'd take Madden, Gulley, Qualls, and Wade over them all day long. Of course I'm a bit of a homer.

They were 6'5 HS guards. They're strong & can handle the ball. Probably match up nightmares in HS. Not so much in college. I think the PG is a mid-range jumpshot away from being a lottery pick though.

Eh, I'll have to disagree. Both can slash to the basket but haven't been consistent enough doing so.

Maybe, maybe not. They both more than likely return and I'm certainly willing to see what they can do with another season under their belts. They've had some big shoes to fill at both of their positions at UK.

Really missing Goodwin, huh?

I somewhat agree. He's capable of being pretty damn good. That's Andrew right?
Which one scored 21 at USC-e saturday?

He will probably still be a lottery pick...
Meanwhile the SEC leading scorer, Courtney Denson, will probably be a D-Leaguer

Is that the lefty on ya'lls team?
Or is that Harrell? Harrell is legit. That kid can flat play.
