I'm a big fan of Moe's. Great location for a solid meal before a long night out too.

An hour west in Starkville. Little Dooey.

I like most all of the BBQ joints in Tuscaloosa. I LOVE Dreamland sauce, but I don't think their pork is the highest quality. Jim'n'Nicks is good. Moe's is good, but a little expensive for ordering your food at a counter.

Pottery Grill out in Cottondale used to be really good, but I haven't eaten there in years.

Moe's is good. I love their wings. Though I've never eaten at the Tuscaloosa one, just the ones in Bham.

Jim n Nick's has good meat, but their sauces suck.

Bottom Feeders on 15th Street is very good. Archibalds is my favorite of course. Moes was one of my favorite places to drink but the BBQ is just okay... when I was a student in 09-10 Moes had $4 liquor pitchers and the heady bands played there.

I like Moe's a lot. Archibald and Woodrow's is good too. Of course Archibalds is the best.

It's been gone for a couple years now. Speaking of places that are out of business, I liked Horne's back in the day

Someone else mentioned Pottery Grill in Cottondale. Is there still one in Cottondale? I know there's one off 82 in Northport

One upon a time, Bear Trap offered all you can eat wing for $8.75. You could get a To-go box. Better times man.

There's a little joint on 69 south that shares a roof with a little private gas station. On the right as you're heading south.

I can't remember the name, but maybe the best ribs I've had in town.

Agree about Dreamland. I'll take a tourist to the OG Dreamland just for the experience, but for ribs I prefer my gas station joint.

I used to live behind Horne's and never found it all that special. I actually liked some of their other menu items over their BBQ.

I never realized Pottery Grill had a Northport location. Pretty sure the Cottondale one is still there, but I could be wrong. Last time I ate there was about 10 years ago.

'bama bbq' ... know the former owner, who sold it about 2 years ago ... had really good smoked wings ...

there's a place near there, on hillcrest drive, called 'the pig shack', that sells a very good brisket ... also has good pork, but the brisket is very good ...

I've heard good things. I'm just never out on 69 S. I need to check it out though.
