Sounds like they're lucky as hell that whoever the victim was didn't want to press charges nor did the police push the issue. Since they were at this party I'd assume the victim was a fan/student. 5 players and 2 of them the Nkemdiche bros. coulda been a world of bad for OM.

Still 2 mill is a hefty price tag but I guess if you're willing to take charges off the table (and obviously any pay out would be MUCH smaller) it's probably a steal.

I'm confused, and am not going to read 14 pages worth of what is likely another OM-MSU piss fest in order to find out what I want, so I'm just gonna ask here.

Why the hell is he suing for 2 million? Can he like, walk and function physically as a member of a society?

As in every college town (most of the time), the cops let these guys go because they were football players. Civil suit will be almost impossible to dodge and only half the jury has to rile in the plaintiffs favor. That kid will get Roberts NFL money.

Whether it happened or not in this situation, jumping someone and constantly kicking and punching them is just straight bull shite in my opinion. Same as sucker punching someone.
