All of this needed to be purely off our own internal population growth.

Not at the breakneck speeds we are seeing. 60% of the population growth in the last decade was from migration.

Also, Californians aren't the only people moving here. Not by a long shot.

When did I say they were? I singled out Californians because of the shitshow they created in their state with failed liberal policies that they're now bringing with them.

Damn dude you need to hit up a doctor to get checked out for a brain worm.

Are you saying I'm wrong and that domestic migration is in no way having an effect in how Texas votes?

I'm saying that anyone who says something this brain dead

Too many liberals are moving here and taking jobs built by conservatives, for conservative Texans while they bitch and moan about how we do things down here.

is part of the problem with this country and not the solution.

IDGAF what side you back. Anyone with that extreme a view is clearly doing a shitty job at educating themselves about what our political leaders are doing and needs to take a step back from the obviously partisan garbage they are using to fill their head. Neither side is perfect or right 100% of the time. Also newsflash, there are plenty of jacked up things in this state that everyone should be complaining about. Texas isn't perfect. Boo hoo that people who move here might point that out.

And your solution is to keep quiet and say nothing?

Ok.

So pointing out that Texas is turning purple is "extremist"?

I'd like for you to point out where I said such thing.

Texas isn't perfect. But that doesn't mean we should allow our state to be overrun by the same voting habits that have destroyed California. You may be ok with the prospects of an expanded state government, but I'm not. Texas is an economic workhorse because we allowed it to become one.

So if these jobs were "built by conservatives, for conservative Texans", why are they hiring liberals from California?

I assume you’re referring to Austin? What’s happening there is pretty sad

I was there a month ago and saw “Free Palestine” and “No transphobia/islamaphobia” signs on multiple businesses. Like that’s a huge problem

Meanwhile hobos are taking over the city and thugs having gunfights on 6th

So Alex Caruso got arrested for weed by Texas A&M University Police.

I feel safer already!

I thought Texas was supposed to legalize? That's rather petty

I am sure we will be one of the last handful of states to legalize. When that actually happens who knows, probably a while.

My dude didnt even have WEED.

It was the residue from a grinder found in his bag.

BCS does too much bro.

Andre white for a gram last weekend, now Alex Caruso for grinder residue.

Brazos County still scrapes pipes and charges for residue.

Most metros fine you for under 2oz

Yeah I’ve seen people smoking in plain view next to a cop in Houston and they don’t care. I’m sure it’s the same in Austin Dallas etc. I don’t so it doesn’t impact me personally but the principle of it bothers me

My main issue with weed is that you can tell when people have been smoking it. Smells a lot like burned skunk. Still, people who are high are much more pleasant to deal with than those that are drunk

I'm ok with the state legalizing marijuana as long as it is highly regulated and stricter punishments are given for public use.

People should only smoke it inside their own house and they should be responsible for any smell nuisances.
