Oh come on, that's not fair. We'd never kill UT off. We're just getting used to beating them.

Since coming to the SEC, how many top ten finishes for TAMU?

flawless logic there gump

Splain, then. Why would you assume top ten finishes for Texas A&M for the foreseeable future when they only got there once with JFF?

You realize that a quarter of a decade is 2.5 years? I'm assuming no...

poised
adjective
1. ready, waiting, prepared, standing by, on the brink, in the wings, all set
US forces (or Texas A&M) are poised for a massive air, land and sea assault.

I am concerned about a massive sea assault. Obviously we want to maintain Orange Beach and Gulf Shores in pristine condition.
I know what "poised" means. But why do you think A&M, of all programs, is poised for long term greatness?

Dude, just no.

I wouldn't call it greatness.
But I could see them reaching close to the consistency that the LSU football program has enjoyed for the last 10 years.
They are in a great location to recruit. They are pulling great classes already. They are in the conference that they really should have been in all along. They have a good coach to lead them into the future.

I already told you. Recruiting hotbed, already surpassed the sips in recruiting Texas, SEC bounce.
IMO, all those factors put A&M on an equal footing with Texas right now. The only question is the quality of coaching. And of course, the brutal competition in the SEC West.
I'm surprised you don't see them as a potential threat on par with any team in the SEC.

I don't disagree with the factors you list as being positive for TAMU. But until I see them field a defense that matches the LSUs and Bamas of the world, I can't see them as a peer. Until then, they will be good but not great.

Why do you call Texas "sips"?
This is an Aggie tradition that nobody else in Texas identifies with. In fact, it pretty much defines one as an Aggie.
I respect the Aggie degree, their traditions, their potential in FB, and many other things about TAMU.
I hate Texas as well.
But I don't call Texas "sips" because I'm not an Aggie
Why do you?
