Then stop it. LSU gave up a combined 31 points to Auburn and Texas A&M last year.

Alabama gave up a combined 76 to both teams.

This is the best point so far.

All this "it tries to deceive the defense before they are ready" bullshite doesn't seem to apply to LSU. Why?

It's simple really: Saban is a control freak who doesn't allow his players the freedom to improvise on plays. They must be in position and must run the play he calls.

Les is the opposite. He encourages his players to use their heads and instincts to accomplish what needs to be done. This philosophy works against the HUNH.

Hey...props to LSU fans for not being total homers on this subject. LSU doesn't run, nor is there any indication that they'll run a HUNH. Yet their fans can still sniff out bullshite just fine.

Yes because LSU has nothing to gain from Alabama gaining an advantage. It's not like LSU has a blind hatred of anything Bama. Dipshit.

So is it about safety or not?

No. We don't care because LSU can stop it.

HUNH does not affect our games against Bama.

So what you are really saying is that you are afraid of the HUNH so you want to limit it as much as possible.

LSU shut them down at half. THat last drive for a long field goal is what did LSU in.

See, LSU needs to learn that other teams, unlike Bama, can hit long range field goals.

ETA: Oh yeah, are you going to elaborate on how the rule book is being exploited?

Maybe you didn't watch the game.

Mett threw 3 first half INTs which led to quick points.

It was a 14 play drive for a field goal. Yeah that's really stopping it. OUCH!

Not every coach in the op runs the HUNH you idiot. Talking to yall is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Can your stupid arse read? If you can go back to my first post and show where I said "ALL". I didn't. Now slap yourself for being both stupid and whiny.

You dudes STAY bitching and whining. IF not about a schedule it is about calls, if not that it is REC or Saban controlling NCAA.

Bunch of whiny bitches.

Lets not act like we played a perfect game and y'all shite the bed because that's what you're trying to make the narrative. We turned the ball over twice and still won while racking up 525 yards of offense. Three interceptions didn't cause that. In the two years that we've run the HUNH against LSU we've had 1000 yards of offense and 62 points. Not exactly stopping it.

Yeah the lord Saban fanboys really are a pathetic lot. They're so enamored by him they are unable to rationally reason through the merits of the HUNH and why/how this discussion is even occurring.

Coaching is a brotherhood and a noble profession. I would hope there are not those in our business who would sneak behind everyone else's back and try to get something passed without the others in the profession having the opportunity to be heard. It's a reaction to the success of Auburn and Texas A&M, clearly," he said. "So rather than innovate defensively and re-spawn defensively, it's like -- and this is the lowest level of bureaucracy that exists in football - it's like rather than adapt our teams or coach our teams, what we're going to try to do instead is invent a rule." — Mike Leach

One of my personal favorites:

"The only thing risking injury in an up tempo football game is the defense's pride! NUT UP!, it's football!"
— Bob Stitt, Colorado School of Mines

Apparently you are like the rest and only pull what you want to from my posts. I have stated more than once that I don't want the rule change. That I am confident the HUNH will be figured out and extinct in a short time. It actually sounds more like HUNH fans are afraid that their coach can't be successfull without it.

They're saying it because your coach is hiding behind player safety like a bitch instead of just saying he wants it gone because he doesn't like it.

That's the scheme they have designed for their teams. Your coach has trouble against it and HE is the one trying to limit it. It sounds like he is the one that is afraid.

Really? The HUNH crowd is scared? It has nothing to do with calling out an illogical rule change proposal by way of a rigged system I'm sure.

If he and the fat man weren't trying to pass it off under the auspices of player safety I wouldn't have a problem with the complaining. They're doing what they're paid to do and that's create advantages for themselves but hiding it behind safety is bitch made.
