It seems like every year has one or two guys that are far beyond everyone else.
Pryor, Clowney, Nkemdiche, and Fournette come to mind. Seems like they were well known as #1 overall players well before their senior years.

Yeesh.
So anyways, back to the question, who're the "it" guys this year?

Jabril Peppers is the best athlete from the 2014 class. There doesn't seem to be a guy this year that is far and beyond everyone.

Myles Garrett and Speedy Noil

Kevin Toliver is number 1 right now on 247 composite. Don't really know enough to put him in the category of those guys and it'll probably shuffle a bit before next year.

Camp season is always where the can't miss talent sets the bar. Especially since half of them are still in the middle of their growth spurt

Leo Lewis. Linebacker from Brookhaven, MS.
He's a fricking animal. Will be Top 10 in the end.

Lewis is unbelievably good. He makes Raekwon McMillan, the #1 MLB in the 2014 class, look like a fricking scrub.
He is going to shoot up the rankings like a rocket.
He has the best LBer film I've ever seen. Amazing talent.

Preston Williams. Closes thing I've seen to Julio Jones since well...Julio.
I also like Demarkus Lodge but he is more of a possession WR. Not really the freak athlete. He also doesn't have the best QB throwing him the ball.

Jabril Peppers is 2014's "freak". Fournette is an awesome running back but Peppers could star at about four different positions. Dude was all-state at two different positions and led his team in rushing yards, receptions, tackles and INTs.

Jordan Davis looks pretty frickin freakish
ETA:
If he commits to Bama... If he stays in state he probably finishes ranked outside the top 20.
