I think it has more to do with the risk of putting 1 player on the cover and having him transfer, or suck. They had that Michigan RB on their last year that had barely played prior outside of a few splash plays and he had a meh season
The old system picked a player who graduated already out of necessity, but honestly think they should go back to that. It’s a lot easier to pick a cover athlete coming off their final season in college than trying to guess the top guys for the next season

I found the plot /resolution kind of half thought and not that well written. Looks great, very creepy and some really interesting visuals and keeping the creepy/mysterious vibes going, but by the end of it there really isn’t that much crazy horror in there and it’s more of a psychological thriller with jump scares mixed in, which makes the marketing push they did with people puking in the theaters and all that seem really silly

Definitely could feel where there were 2-3 scripts stitched together, so there’s some ideas/plot that sort of come and go or die on the vine. Not surprising given it was in post production for so long. But is a pretty funny movie with a lot of cool ideas/ concepts and scenes. Definitely worth the watch.

This list is more about ranking the rest of the room moreso than the starter
LSU is 1 bc of a strong returning senior QB and a transfer who started as a true freshman at an SEC school last year and showed some good stuff while doing it. Pretty rare to have in today’s portal era at the QB position

It’s is a very streamlined dopemine hit that feeds into our country’s sadistic infatuation with crime and punishment
Justice or the justice system in real life is (in most cases rightfully) slow, boring and without clear answers across the board. Law and order (and more specifically SVU) give you a very clear cut evil to point to and then ultimately punish. Which has cleared the path for our extremely unhealthy true crime obsession/industry.
