The first thing I can remember is my grandma(big ol lady) rocking back and fourth yelling "o lawd!! We gonna give it away. They are gonna beat the tar out of us. Gettem!!!!!."
It didn't matter if we was up 25 in the fourth. She would scream this.
I miss grandma. Wish she could have been around for 3 of 4. But I'm sure she is smiling about it somewhere.
Anywho. What is your first memory of cfb?
Mine is not even a certain play, or game.
My first play is prolly when Teague ripped that Miami player of the ball and went the other way with it in the 92' natty. I was 5. Roll Tide.

I was about 10 years old, and a boy scout. We were invited to stand at various point around Commonwealth Stadium to help people who needed help, etc.
Watched Sonny Collins run. Great athlete.

My first UGA game I attended was 2010 against Louisiana–Lafayette (Murray plays as starting QB).

Honestly not sure if this is even accurate, I haven't rewatched it since then but Dameyune Craig running down the sideline for a long touchdown against Navy in a bowl game I believe.
ETA- It was Army, not Navy.

First...being 5 years old and realizing that people never shut the frick up about some shoe. "Ellis shoe's looking really good this year". It was years before I realized what they were talking about. Grew up, first few years anyway, in the red stick.
My first real football memory was going to practice with my step dad and hanging out on the sidelines with Pat Dye. (My step dad was a VP with Auburn). I was 12

Freshman year at UGA. My first college football game ever. Saw Herschel Walker run wild like a god amongst men and have been hooked on college football ever since. Been waiting ever since for UGA to rekindle the magic.

Not trolling at all...
But as a young Tennessean, wide eyed and 6 years old, I remember distinctly Manning to Kent at Legion Field. It was the first of 11 straight Tennessee-Alabama games me and my dad would go to together. It was awesome

New Mexico State 2000, game breaking the 21 losses in a row streak. I remember thinking, wtf are they doing tearing down the goal posts?

Very first memory in a stadium was the 1981 LSU/Florida State game. They beat us (sadface) and all I remember was hearing that damn Tomahawk Chop song over and over again all night.
Went to several games during the '82 season and was a huge fan of the Dalton and James Gang.

War memorial stadium games in 1965. These are the first games I remember
The first TV game I remember was the '69 Texas /Arkansas game
My mom cried, my maternal GM called crying. My dad went to bed. We were crushed; absolutely devastated.
I'll never forget. I've hated Texas sports ever since( and my MD is from a Texas school)

Homecoming Pow Wow for FSU. An egg opened up to reveal the queen.
Moved to Mobile and became a Bama fan watching them beat Auburn repeatedly.

Probably when I was shocked Danny Wuerffel wasn't the number 1 pick in the NFL draft even though people said he was really good in college.
