If you aren't religious, obviously this doesn't apply to you [/feebleattempttoavoidubiquitoustrolling]
Do you say "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors," or "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us"?
My family and I always said "debtors," but it's funny to me when I'm saying it in a group setting and have to wait for the others to catch up at that juncture![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

trespasses, but do you include this at the end
quote:
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever.

First church as a kid said trespasses. The next church said debts. They were both PCA so I don't think it's a denominational think. I definitely lag on that part of the prayer in an unfamiliar church so I don't say the wrong one like an idiot ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

However P. Diddy says it, that's how I say it.

The Latin is debita nostra and debitoribus nostris
Perhaps it is a sign of the English consider personal property in a different light.
