Will state ever beat LSU in football again?

Every year I go in thinking, "if LSU overlooks the State game and slips up, this could be the year they finally beat us" , but it never happens. It's been 14 years now and Mullen's ceiling is below Les' floor, until Les retires and/or Mullen leaves, I just can't see state ever beating LSU.

doubt it, LSU is our kryptonite. even in the 90s when we had the clear better team we would find away to lose

it will happen eventually. its a cycle. the cycle is just slower than some teams. for instance, the ole miss cycle to beat alabama is very very slow

Heck they almost beat us in 09.

It will probably be another close game for 3 quarters and then we give up a big play TD and boom it's over.
That said if any year we could do it, next year is it. At least LSU fans are nicer to us than OM. I have only been flipped off in DV but I've heard worse from my OM friends. I usually support LSU except when they play State though. When TGBFTL hits the field for pregame and plays that first hit, gives me chills everytime.

In Tiger Stadium? I would doubt it. I will say though that this is probably the best shot at beating us that you've had in a while.
