Here's to the greatest Aggie QB in the long history of the program. Incredible highs and anxious lows have followed every moment of his two seasons as a QB, but one thing that no one can deny is that he came along to weave his magic at the perfect time for Texas A&M. We needed a "cheat code" just to make us competitive in a new, scarily competitive conference, and Manziel seemed to come straight out of a video game and captivated us all, friends and foes alike. Not gonna pretend that he's a saint, but he's never purported to be one. He's insanely, annoyingly, gloriously human, and regardless of what you think of him as a person, you have to give him credit for staying true to who he is through all the hoopla.

Thanks for an incredible, once in a lifetime ride, #2. You left this program far better than you found it, and set us on a trajectory to wrest control of the state of Texas and establish us as a major player in the best conference in college football. You'll be missed. Best of luck in the NFL. Proud to always be able to call you a Fightin' Texas Aggie.

Johnny Linebacker. We don't see this in highlights because the play didn't count. But this is one of my favorites:

How many QBs do this???

The Duke play has to be #1 on the "what the..." list.

Proud to say I was there :jump2:

And now that I've been to the Independence Bowl, I've done it and don't have to do it again! Well, until next time.

The La Tech game took away years of my life. The game started at 7pm and didn't end until a quarter 'till one in the morning.

It was an exhausting experience, even for a spectator.

His touchdown run in the 4th quarter on 3rd and 24 was sublime. That game exercised some of the demons from the previous season.

Thank God we were at the Independence Bowl so the alcohol sales continued unabated until the end of the game.

"Johnny Football! Trying to PUT AN END TO IT!"

And you'd think he had, with that score putting A&M up by 15 in the 4th. Not so fast, Ags. Agreed on losing a few years - that was a taxing game, worse than the 6-turnover win at Ole Miss.

Best I've ever seen.

I hope he proves me wrong in his NFL career.
