Well, I'm engaged! But the proposal went wrong

So at midnight, I lit the firework and well, the army man holding the ring kinda exploded as the parachute shot out of the firework. I had a backup plan for everything but this. So we all just kinda stood there until a heard a clank. I have no idea but the rind landed right at the feet of my girlfriend and then I grabbed it and got down on one knee and yea. How the hell the ring didn't get lost in the explosion, but I think god helped. Thank you lord, and happy new year to all

Btw, you might consider taking the ring to your jeweler this week to have the stone(s) checked. They could've become loose from the impact.

hey im not trying to get anyone to believe me or not. for those who want to celebrate with me in the current happiest moment of my life, thanks! people asked me to tell what happened with my terribly planned proposal and i did. Thats all. Its up to you whether to not to believe and frankly I dont give a damn if you don't
