aTm has over 5 billion in an endowment that ranks 4th amongst public schools and 10th in the entire country. I don't think they are hurting for money....

Well we did raise more money in a single year than the entire value of LSU's endowment.

that's because you have a giant alumni base because you accept anyone that can't get into Texas.

I feel like these stats are probably pretty skewed by how states/schools report athletic revenue.

And your alumni base has double in the last 10 years because you accept anyone that can't get in to A&M.

Actually it takes a poor person to confuse revenue and wealth.

that out of state tuition helps the bottom line moreso than in-state does.

Does the fact that Arkansas hasn't had to pay for bowl travel expenses the last few years not skew the data?

haven't had to pay bowl travel expenses and yet we still have as many bowl wins in the past two seasons as LSU does. Amazing!

I was under the impression that Arkansas offered *border states a discount that made it the same as in-state tuition. I know like 100 kids from my high school went, and they all said that. That might have been misinformation, or might have changed.

i'm not sure how it works now but when I was there 10 years ago kids from bordering counties got a slight discount, some even full in-state. My county in Missouri bordered the state but my discount wasn't much at all. I think Texas kids probably got sweeter deals than MO or OK kids.

not sure how it works now, you may be right because there has been a huge influx of kids from DFW.
