There are probably more Cowgirl fans because they have been around longer but their are still a ton of Texans fans and it causes a lot of heated debates and trolls over on TexAgs. They do both suck though.

I'm a Saints fan! Who Dat?
I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX. Lived there from 1971-1990. Lived in Aggieland from 1990-2013. The truth is that metro Houston supports the Texans very well, but outside of that market, no one gives a rats arse about the them.
My college years (1990-1993) wound up being glory years for the Cowboys. Their fans were flat out insufferable. Don't get me wrong, they still have a huge fan base, but now they're a largely depressed group secure in the knowledge that no top NFL coach will put up with Jerry's ego.

Cowboys fan since I was a little kid. Dad is one as well.
I root for the Texans too, though, if they aren't playing Dallas.

I've found myself watching a lot of Rams games the 2nd half of this season. Jeff Fisher is building something there, and they are crazy young.

When I lived I. The Houston area, I saw it like this.
Cowboys fans: "got 5?!"
Houston fans: "we would have beat y'all if ____ would have caught the ball". Ignoring the dropped passes the other teams dropped.
I know a lot of cool ones but those are the super homer types I've come across.

They have some upside imo.
I've been watching more of the Chiefs. Always great to see Cyrus Gray out there every now and then.

It's interesting because everybody wants to talk shite but nobody really can because their own team sucks. I'm sure the Romo injury will spark a good Schaub vs Romo debate tomorrow.

Rams are my team. Hell wed be legit playoff contenders if we didn't play in the toughest division in football

Cowboy fan but since I dont really like pro football, it doesnt ruin my day if they lose.
Now if Houston had been able to take the Oilers name, I would be a Houston fan.

Those of us from Houston and SE Texas (myself included) typically pull for the Texans (and the Oilers, previously).
A good chunk of the remainder of the state backs the Cowboys.

I was an Oiler fan. When Bud took them away I gave up on pro football and didn't return to the game until the 2nd or 3rd Texan season when I became a fan again. My allegiances are to Houston teams and the Aggies. So yes crushing disappointment has been a constant theme throughout my life.

I am also a Houston sports fan. It all depends on where you're from. DFW you're obviously a Cowboys fan and Houston you're a Texans fan. Most from San Antonio and Austin are Cowboys fans but I had noticed a solid rise of the Texans the last couple years before this shitastic year. West Texas is basically all Cowboys fans

The only catch I complain about is Mike Renfro's catch in the back of the end zone that was called out of bounds. That bad call kept us out of the big one, but shite happens and I got over it. I just wish the Oilers had made it once is all. Many great childhood memories of the luv ya blue era.

I will say this: if San Antonio ever manages to land an NFL team, that's team numero uno for me.
Still kinda miffed we couldn't lure the Saints away from NO, tbh.

I support America's Team.

Jerry will be the biggest cock block from any team landing in San Antonio...
