SPIN OFF: Seriously, Best Movie Remakes

1.) Dredd
Although I could have topped the original using my Galaxy S3 and some bottle rockets. I AM THE LAW
2.) Ocean's 11
It was solid, the sequels just sucked a major anteater though.
Besides that, I honestly can't think of a single Remake that was worth a shite, other than the Batman movies by Nolan......

I'm scared to view it. Is the chick with the 3 boobies in it?

I don't remember 3 boobies
but possibly.
Also, forgot I Am Legend was a remake, but that one was excellent

Dredd was one of the best movies made last year. I've watched it probably 3-5 times.
I don't view that as a remake as much as getting it right the second time.

King Kong was good.
The 80's Blob remake was better than the Blob movie from the 50s. Much more gory

Bogart's Maltese Falcon is better than the original.

True Grit.
I love John Wayne movies, but let's be honest: The Duke plays the Duke in every movie. Jeff Bridges actually played Rooster Cogburn.

I dont know if it counts but "Let the Right One In" was an incredible movie... It's a Swedish film... Then they remade it for American theaters and titled it "Let Me In"... The remake was even better.

I enjoyed the Americanized Girl with the Dragon Tattoo more than it's Swedish version if that counts.

Which is far more disgusting than the alternative version, amirite?

But yeah, I completely agree with you about Ocean's 11 (and 12 and 13)
