I'm glad you appreciate my construction-based puns. There's plenty more where that came from! Next week's Ewe has a sheared ungulate that will make your panties drool. Also, 5 Ways to Avoid Malaria in College Station! Exciting issue for exciting times.

Pun is a good cover up...

Puns are just fancy ribbons to pin on spelling errors

Only an hour and a half huh...strong selling point.
How close is ANY Mississippi school to a city with over two million people?
I bet not as close as A&M is to two.

Also using a noun as a verb.

I agree...I wouldn't want to live in Starkville or Oxford either if I was not going to school there. Same with College Station.

Well over the next several months you'll get to learn all about College Station now that you're pluggin in with The Ewe. I'm really stoked you're so interested in our town! It's good to get esteemed Mississippians on board with what's happening in Texas' Smartest City.

There's much to do in one's free time.
But I have no need to sell/defend it to you; nor do you actually have an honest desire to learn.
To each his own.

Duke is giving students free tickets to the Peach bowl, will A&M match?
Posted on 12/9/13 at 4:14 pm to jb4
A&M fans can pay for their tickets from their Arkansas graduate employee's pension funds. We don't give shite away here.

Five hours but we're close to both Memphis and Birmingham

Our students will purchase them.
Same as our Former Students.
This isn't a charity event.

Also from ATL and an Ole Miss fan:
If you want great Tex Mex, try:
Nuevo Laredo. It's the closest you'll get to Tex/Mex in ATL.
If you want BBQ (Texas style) try:
Fox Brothers BBQ
If you drink too much and need to take your wife to a nice dinner, try:
BistroNiko or Anis Café or Del Frisco's Grille in Buckhead. For upscale steakhouse; Bones
Hotels: You definitely want to stay ITP (Inside the Perimeter) for the full experience. Three areas that are on the MARTA (yes, it's safe and efficient) line are downtown/Centennial Park area. This area is closest to the stadium. Lot's of business convention type hotels but the W is nice.
Midtown: features lots of bars for the younger crowd. Loews Hotel is very nice.
Buckhead: Stay there for a wealthier, older crowd. Plus you have Lenox and Phipps Malls for shopping for the wife.

Memphis isn't but I won't disagree with the magic city

This thread is for College Station fans, like Eric and Dick Magic, to discuss and link each other to interesting unique things about College Station. Not Atlanta.

Ohhhh, Memphis.
Memphis. Memphis. Memphis.
Another painful locale.
But if you're in northern MS, it's an understandable destination.
I have yet to visit BHam.
But I hear good things.

People from Texas are really sensitive. I thought y'all were supposedly tough

You wanna go to Memphis?
Haha it just sounds weird even saying that sentence out loud.
