Oh man. I couldn't stop laughing on that one.

Sucks doesn't it

Not really. I find it pathetic really. 2011 was one thing but to continually do this is fitting for the gumps. Claim and cry for something you didn't earn. Go ahead and claim #20 since you were the better team and just lost. You guys are actually reminding me of the 05 USC team.

More likely discussing how to setup Auburn as a fall guy in the next scandal 3 days after Christmas.

And this is why Alabama shouldn't be smug about Saban not finishing his career there.

He is the most marketable college football figure. It's not Alabama, it's Nick Saban.

ESPN has a lot invested in the Longhorn Network, and they don't share that with a conference. Saban will get his base salary no matter where it's at, but that's pocket change compared to his advertisement income in a Big 12 market.

He'll still get his Bama investments much like the Bear does after all these years. With the market that ESPN and Texas have, Alabama can't compete.

Not saying it's happening, mostly due to his age, but he definitely will be leaving a lot on the table staying at Alabama.

Saban is awesome. Glad to have a coach that does all he can to get his team in the title game after one loss. I wonder why Miles doesnt do the same?

Oh yeah, the whole 3 losses thing...

You call it begging, we call it lobbying. There is nothing wrong with it, but I'm glad it gives LSU fans another thing to whine about.

Its all in the game, playa.

WTF does that have to do with anything I said?

Your response is childish, too.

Grow up.

I'm laughing because you're probably 18 years old.

Whine? We're laughing. It's sad really, we shouldn't laugh. For that, I apologize.

No we didn't. After the Arky loss, there was no talk or begging by LSU to get into the title game. It wasn't until after all hell broke loose that everyone started examining the "best 2 loss teams". That's when the unwritten rule of winning your conference was thought up. Apparently, that was thrown out the next year. Les never begged, politicians,or lobbied to get his team In. He responded to a question but was never whored around the media saying the same thing
