Save this thread for a few yeas from now.
He was underpaid but giving a first year coach a raise before a season ends after 2 miracle wins seems extreme.
Especially after you just fired a coach 2 years after a NC.

You just don't get it, obviously. EVERY bit of the success Coach Chiz had was because of Gus. Without Gus, Coach Chiz won as many SEC games as Arky did this year.

So the mediocre seasons were because of Gus too or just 2010?

Gus Malzahn had a damn good offense at Auburn in 2009, and then when know what happened in 2010. 2011 was an anomaly due to Clint Moseley and Barrett Trotter playing quarterback. We've seen what Gus Bus can do with anything above terrible.
