He's a media member. Whatever inside information he gets is because the people in the know want it to be heard. Do you feel like that would be the best way to land nick saban if you were texas?
The information leaking out is the information that Texas wants out there

Dude, Saban is leaving because Austin has food carts, live music, and film festivals. You just know how much Saban loves that stuff.

I'll disagree with this - his info is usually the last thing that "Texas" (meaning the official athletic department) wants out there. Because it's often the sunshine as a disinfectant for all the crap that's in that department.

fwiw, I don't believe any of this is happening. But I don't think there is ZERO chance like BAMA fans are proclaiming.
There are two things that make me believe that this story does have traction (but will ultimately end up dead because there's too much attention on the story)
1. How many times has an internet rumor popped up and then immediately died down? 98% of rumors, they usually have no legs. At the same time, when there's this much smoke, there's something to it. I'm not saying that it is a done deal, but I absolutely believe there is SOMETHING to it.
2. Sexton came out and said that Texas would be the only job he'd consider. Why would he say that? A professional agent like Sexton who has been in the business long enough to know how to work it doesn't just come out and say that because he's board. Again, there's SOMETHING to that. Was it to get a raise? To use the Texas job as leverage? Let's say Texas does offer him $12M+.......did he expect that when he was talking about it? Him just saying that out of the blue, unprovoked, doesn't make any sense.

It's funny because if Saban were at Texas and was said to be going to Alabama, you'd be eating that nonsense up and being your typical self-entitled BAMA self.
You clearly don't know what the frick you are talking about...per usual.

Cowheard did say that he confirmed, with several sources, that UT wants Nicky bad. But he said he spent 90 minutes on the phone last nite and could not find 2 sources to confirm Nicky was interested and/or going to UT. He said his sources told him that UT, after the loss to auburn, feels Nicky mite be open to leaving now, thus their increased interest in pursuing him

They wont do that, but they could get Saban for less than that.

Can you not read? Because a poster on BOL said so.
His wife has recently reminded everyone how psycho that fanbase is and they are completely happy and would never leave Alabama.

How do you know? You haven't talked to the guy today. You haven't talked to any of those people today. How do you know what has been said and what hasn't been said?
