Mizzou was up by 17 on USC.
Then the Shawshank Redemption happened.
That was with both starting QBs out. Then USCe cheated and brought in their starter. That totally wasn't fair!

They've needed two miracles to get there.
The UGA win was a miracle. The Iron Bowl win was Auburn taking advantage of an opportunity that landed in their laps that they put themselves in position to win the game.

Please. Sure uga was a lucky play, but the iron bowl was far from a miracle.
UGA was easily a miracle. It's in the nickname.
Bama, sure you maybe wouldn't have lost the game if it didn't happen, but to say a 109yd FG return to win a rivalry game is normal then I have no idea what else to say to you.

the line is like 2 or 3 points... there are tons of people who think Mizzou has a great shot at winning.

Most Au fans in Auburn Saturday were wanting to play USCe, fwiw.

History, tradition and they hate Spurrier more than they hate us.

Sure it wasn't normal, but to call it a fluke or miracle isn't correct either. Nick lined up his team for a FG and Gus put a skill guy back to take advantage of a short kick. It worked out, but a fluke or miracle is stretching it.

I think part of the issue is that the discussion all week as been whether Auburn should jump OSU when what everyone really means is whether the SEC Champion should jump OSU.
I think most people see Auburn and Mizzou as fungible in that regard. As for the head to head matchup, I don't see anyone taking an Auburn win for granted.

most AU fans I know wanted Mizzou to win... that made it 10 times more difficult for bama to backdoor into another championship.

I think we're nitpicking here, guys.

I don't see you guys making those same statements about your win over an injury plagued UGA...

think Missouri wins. Auburn has been skating on thin ice for a while now. I don't see how anyone can be confident in Auburn to say for sure they will win. They've needed two miracles to get there.
Exactly how I feel.

Not really. If you call that a miracle or fluke it is flat wrong. Pretty simple really.
