ought to call it "The Battle for the Bootheel"
and literally let the Bootheel go back and forth depending on who wins
It would be appropriate, since the Bootheel is there because some guy back then wanted to get into the country sooner or else the border wouldn't be crooked.
Screw battling for some trophy.
If that's not fair because Arkansas isn't putting up anything we could give them Blytheville and Jonesboro when we lose.

well then let's make this the thread for input. Of course we're gonna need the usual meth pipe, banjo, Wal-Mart stuff, etc.

Solid start of an idea. I would instead propose that the losing state took the Bootheel.

all kidding around aside; this has the makings of an awesome "natural" border rivalry. plus they do already have "Kansas" in their name...lol... maybe it can be the battle for a giant silver dollar?

You know it wouldn't take too much to make a custom golden cart trophy.

2.) Gold Plate the cart.
3.) Best trophy in college sports.

Well, he commonality between the two states is the Ozarks. So, corn-cob pipes, hillbillies, meth, squirrel hunting, Wal-Mart, banjos, moonshine, white-trasn cooking...all those things have promise.
