Is Auburn's offense balanced enough to beat Bama?

Exciting week ahead and while looking at matchups for Mizzou in the coming week I couldn't help but notice some things that stood out while taking a peek at some of the other matchups in the SEC during rivalry week.
Its seems that the matchups don't favor Auburn in this Iron Bowl with Alabama. I understand the nature of Auburns offense but it seems to me that in order for Auburn to pull out a victory they are going ot have to be much more balanced on offense.
Auburn fans, is this a concern for you all this weekend? Can the playbook be expanded to balance your offense out a little more this weekend? Or is Gus set on trying to run into the teeth of the best rushing defense in the SEC?
Not a flame attempt at all. Just curious what you all think and what the other fans on the SECR think about this aspect of the Iron Bowl matchup this year.
SEC Conference Statistics
Auburn Offense
Rushing Offense: G:7 ATT: 352 Yds: 1994 AVG ATT: 5.7 TDs: 23 AVG YDS Game 284.9
Passing Offense: G:7 Comp/Att/INT: 89-152-5 PCT: 58.6 Yards: 1303 AVG: 8.6 TD: 7 AVG/Game: 186.1
Alabama Defense
Rushing Defense: G: 7 ATT: 218 Yards: 692 AVG: 3.2 TD: 4 AVG/Game 98.9
Passing Defense: G: 7 Comp/Att/Int: 103-194-8 PCT: 53.1 Yards: 1370 AVG: 7.1 TD: 7 AVG/Game: 195.7

No, but they could always run some more trick plays

Alabama holds the statistical advantage both offensively and defensively. However this is the Iron Bowl and I expect it to be closer than it should.
Can't wait

Good question, kilo - Interested to hear what Auburn fans think.
I tend to agree - they are going to have to expand their passing repertoire a bit on Saturday. They're an excellent team, I just would like to see a little more balance from them. They'll need it if they want to pull the upset.

Auburn fans have been saying all year that they can throw when they need to. I think we find out if this is true Saturday. It is a testament to the strength of their team that they really haven't had to throw yet.

They threw some against Georgia. And it worked when it had to. But I'm not sure it's enough to call their offense balanced, at least from what I've seen so far. I'm not saying they can't do it, just haven't seen it so far.

Hell no. People act like Auburn is this dominant run team. THEY HAVE TO BE. they run the ball 45 times a game. It's out of necessity. I just wish Miles hadn't taken his foot off the gas in the 2nd quarter. We could've dropped 50 on auburn. JHill had 120 yards in the first quarter and the score was 21-0 before lsu even got to 3rd down.

I promise you will see every end around, reverse, rb pass option and trick play in the book. Gus knows he can't line up and beat Bama straight up.

in conference play in yards, we are almost 60/40, so its not as one sided as it may seem. we have been very good on yards obtained with the pass

Wait, Auburn has not done that at all.

AU should have no issue passing on that.
