Marshall will finish higher than AJ in the Heisman race too.

It's 12 TDs in his first 10. And AJ had 6 more the next two games.
When it's comparing PP- give it to AJ.
When it's comparing a dual threat QB- give it to Marshall.

certainly systems play a role... Their product through 10 games (both in their third years) is similar, though.

I did not read your troll bait.
I am going to say since AJ won crystal his first year I will go with him.
Crystal trumps stats.

Nick has done a great job. I think the drive against State gave him great confidence that he's carried over the rest of the season.

I'm jealous that I didn't come up with this idea. Solid job, lowspark.

right, b/c AJ had a lot to do with one of the best defenses in NCAA history?...

Yeah he did. Don't you know he came to Alabama as a defensive back and then converted?
That's how all the good ones start at least.

Jack LB, IIRC.

This is probably more of a "pick your style" than anything. It's hard to argue with either's effectiveness in running an offense. They both also play in offenses more focused on the run (not exactly sure what Alabama's playcall percentages were, just based on what it felt like watching them play).
However, I will say Nick's decision making still leaves something to be desired on occasion. The pick 6 against UT was an unfortunate lapse. He's growing though. Like against Mississippi State, he has shown flashes of brilliance though. If he can clean up his decision making in passing to the level of his decision making when running the read-option, Nick will be very dangerous moving forward.

BCSNC MVP? Yeah, he played a small part in it.

He played "good" in that game...
Nothing more, nothing less.

Man, I did not realize how good Marshall is...Auburn is fortunate to have him. I guess we're stuck with AJ for a couple more games

Good question, very different QBs obviously, but you could probably give Marshall the edge judging beginning of careers.
Will be interesting to see if Marshall can match McCarron's improvement and subsequent 26-1 record over his next 27 games. I see that he is a junior so I guess the most possible games Marshall has left is 18. So it will be interesting to see if he can go 17-1 ish from here on out.
ETA: Oh, and of course it will be interesting to see if he wins two national championships as well to keep up McCarron's pace. But he has had a very nice start.
