Don't be surprised if he goes after Chizik. No way Gene Chizik gets another HC gig anytime soon. And he's familiar with the SEC and certainly has the DC resume. Would you be ok with this hire?

I don't think we'll want to waste next year changing schemes. Richt will probably go with more of a 3-4 or hybrid scheme guy that we already have the personnel for.

If you look at everywhere Chiz has succeeded as a DC, the teams have been absolutely stacked.

I am now rethinking my opinion on whether he knows jack shite about defense too or if a lot of his success was due to Tuberville being a very good defensive coach.
Tampa 2 is still a very good defense but a lot of it is very reliant on getting a good push up front and that is what we lacked with Chizik as head coach.
