Tebow > Bo and Her Shell. More rushing TDs
Glad you brought that up. I've been wanting to do this:
Condolences on Tebow losing his All-Time All Purpose Yards crown to Aaron Murray.
Oh, and condolences on Danny Werfle losing his All-Time TD Pass crown to ... Aaron Murray.
Sorry that Aaron Murray is from .... Florida.
And that Florida wanted him real bad, but he chose to go to .... GEORGIA.

BCS Championships won by Tebow?
BCS Championships won by UGA under Stafford/Murray/anyone in the last 20 years?

Fwiw, and to make you feel bad about your attempt. . .
It was no worse than any of your attempts throughout the thread, FWIW.
Also, I can understand why Bo turned them down. Look how quickly he broke down under the stress of just two sports. Could you imagine if he'd undertaken three? He'd have been paralyzed within a month.

Good think he's Bo Jackson, so he doesn't have to become an amateur MMA fighter to try and make a few bucks.
Come see famous Heisman trophy winner HW fight a black bear in some Washington County shithole. It's just sad.

Hey, I take my joy where I can. And Aaron Murray erasing Tebow and Waerfulle from the SEC record books gives me joy.
Get off my cloud, sir.
Dang. Fishing for gators and I catch a tiger.

I think it is fair you bring it up. HW is similar to David Greene, Murray or Stafford (minus the NFL success).
Solid, team carrying players who set records but never got the acclaim. Under the radar guys, but certainly respected.

Don't EVEN claim you wouldn't pay good money to see that.
And that black bear would be a rug in HW's den the next day.

Walker was a superstar. He was an Olympian. He is still remembered today as one of the all time greats at RB which is a list that Bo Jackson does not get mentioned on. Bo Jackson was a great athlete but the numbers and wins just don't compare which is why he is never mentioned when discussing the greated college RB's of all time. He had one good season in which he carried the load. Sorry boys but international posters on little boys walls aren't helping your argument. Walker carried UGA to a title and won a Heisman and should have won 3 Heismans as he was the best player in college 1980-82 and had he not been a Freshman he would have won it in 1980. Walker is still a beast.

I mean, I wouldn't go to it, I might get the PPV.

Sooooooo, why did he split carries?
Because that's what happens when you play halfback in a Wishbone offense.
Maybe you're too young to know about the Wishbone.

You speak of Herschel and radars?
Fool. HW transcends radars. He takes a pi## on your radars.
Radars.

I call bull. You would sell your 1974 trailer house and hitch hike your way to the event, selling your body to bums en route, just to sit outside the venue (county fair though it be) and bask in the glow of HW kicking some black bear in the balls and taking his skin as a trophy.
To say otherwise puts the lie to everything else you've posted in this thread and you know it.

Herschel, not close. Not even arguable really.
A lot gets made of "Well if Bo wasn't hurt".
Bo has the 3rd most yards rushing in SEC history in a single season.
Herschel has 1st, 4th and 9th. Bo doesn't have another in the top 13.
In college, the numbers are overwhelmingly in Herschel's favor, especially as was said, everyone knew he was getting the ball and they still couldn't stop him. His performance in the national title game while injured...which gets overlooked a lot was one of the greatest efforts I've seen a single player give in a game.
Bo never finished in anywhere near the league leaders in rushing, receiving, etc in the NFL. He had a few...key word FEW good games in the NFL, and that's been translated into greatness somehow. A good game or 3 doesn't make you great, a great career makes you great.
Herschel on the other hand..I invite you to look at the all-purpose yards leaders in NFL history. You won't have to look far from the top to find him...that's not including his USFL stats...if you add them, he'd be easy to find, he'd be 1st.
Rushing yards? There's 250 names on this list LINK
See Bo on there...no. Herschel's at 39. Not Hall of Fame material, but it's at least in the top 250.
Best single season rushing? LINK
250 more names for best single season, I see Herschel at 75, Bo? Nope.
Does that make Herschel great? No, it is certainly arguable he was the best player in the USFL, and had a very productive NFL career.
Bo had potential, never achieved in the NFL, whether by injury, or indifference because he wanted to play baseball more.
You gauge people by what they DID. Not what they might have done. If you're talking about Football, by that measure, Herschel is so superior to Bo you wonder why someone is dumb enough to ever even think to compare the two.
Bo was a better baseball player...might be because Herschel decided to focus on something. A lesson Bo appears to have needed to learn. Since Herschel didn't play baseball, you have one sport to really compare the two.
When you compare them to what they did, it ain't even close. Herschel versus Earl Campbell is a lot better pair to try and argue whom was a better football player.

Speaking of bums, I bring you this, my most treasured Athens memory (I'm not the student referenced, of course).

Auburn fans usually have a lot of trouble with facts, which of course is why I use them.
