You failed to place the title game vs the other ranked team that had beat number 5 Bama earlier in the season. Nice omission dimwit. Notre Dame was ranked 7th when we played them and only had one loss at the time and had 3 wins over ranked teams.

I'm so surprised Bo had that many less carries than Herschel
I showed the reason why a few years back when I dominated this discussion.

Herschel had the benefit of a fantastic offense. Bo was basically the entire offense for a completely awful Barn team.

Think Barry Sanders at Detroit vs. Emmitt Smith at Dallas or Terrell Davis at Denver.

Category 1:

Bo Jackson, Walter Payton, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods, Cam Newton

Category 2:

Herschel Walker, Ron Dayne, Jerome Bettis, Charles Barkley, Greg Norman

Hope this helps.

UGA 6-5 before Walker arrived. Please explain how we had a dominant offense.

Don't tell UGA fans that.. They seem to believe the rest of the world, sans AU fans, believe Herschel to be the bestest ever!

as you guys saw with Lattimore.

still don't understand this argument, Latti was injured blocking downfield in 2011 and on a freak tackle in 2012 in year his carries were significantly down. as someone who has never rushed in a football game in my life, put me in his position on those two plays and I tear my knee up the exact same way

but back to the thread argument, was Bo really that injury prone in college? I honestly don't know

So your record is a determinant of offensive ability?

he has been using the argument that the were 6-5 prior to hw and he made them better. However, Auburn fans cant use the same argument for auburn with bo

Has any other NC ever had a schedule where they faced 8 teams with losing records? 73% with a losing record.

1980, easiest NC row to hoe?

you have no argument and change it to suit your statement that HW is better.

UGA beat Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl

They had wins over 4 ranked teams including #5 Bama.

They also usually rely on career stats, but stats favoring Bo should be disregarded.

UGA, always very good, never great. Don't know why they just can't be proud of being a consistently strong team.

Which of these records tells me about UGA's offense?
