You don't invite 60 Minutes to follow your program for several months if you are as dirty as the SEC Rant claims you to be. Thank God 60 Minutes didn't follow the sec officials meetings or the scheduling meetings, amiright?

60 Minutes can be bought, and the REC can afford them. Everyone knows that. The REC controls the national media. And the BCS. And the Coaches Poll. And the AP Poll. And the computer rankings. And the SEC offices. And Rivals recruiting rankings. And Les Miles.

Well, kinda. It is scripted -- I doubt most of the questions, let alone the voice-over work, were extemporaneous. The entire segment, while interesting enough (primarily to non-football fanatics, since most people who really follow CFB either already knew or were unsurprised by any of the forthcoming revelations.) It was pretty much softball journalism. Not that that's bad or anything, but it doesn't make for riveting water-cooler news.

what I mean by not scripted is in the context of reality tv. like the producers want an argument to break out between two castmates so they manufacture and manipulate the situation so that it happens. Or they outright make up scenarios where "ex's" show up to start stuff, etc.

60 minutes may be softball journalism but it isn't a scripted reality tv show. if it were they could have come in and produced a 20 minute segment by filming scripted interviews and fake practices, kids camps, etc in about a 2 week window.

Every time Mark Richt loses control of something, it's because the REC took control of it.

Bama gets a free recruiting endorsement. Thank you 60 minutes. They may have called all the 5 star players we are recruiting to watch their show.

Who was the guy that showed up to the team meeting late bc of taking out his earrings?

Imagine the walk down the hall to the room on that one!

Overall, great segment! Bama is very, very lucky to have him as a coach.

Admit it. If Nick Saban walked into your house right now, in front of your entire family, dropped his pants and told you to suck his dick, you'd be on your knees before he undid his belt.

All that said, I can't stand the people who are butthurt/jealous that he left. Nick Saban isn't the LSU coach anymore, get over it people.

I want to see LSU destroy Alabama this year, as I do every year. Aside from 21-0, their games have been pretty close since '07. However, wanting Saban to leave the SEC is like admitting we are 2nd best, like we only have a chance at a Natty if we don't have to play a Saban-coached team.

Florida fans...do y'all hate Urban Meyer as much as LSU fans hate Saban?
