Well I'd probably blame that guy more than the kicker.

Amazing how Mizzou snatched defeat from the jaws of victory after the 3rd quarter, time after time.

Translation: passed ball moves a lot faster than an out of position defender running at full speed trying to recover. It happens. Missouri's kicker absolutely lost the game for his team. Laces facing the kicker? bullshite, you still should be able to make that short of a kick by concentrating. The kicker clearly shanked the kick because he made contact with the ball way too far on the far side of the ball. That contact point is critical and he blew it.

No one is interested. It's SC and Mizzou.

Yep. I had a small argument with an LSU fan in last night's in-game thread. Even when Missouri was up 17-0 on South Carolina I wasn't convinced Mizzou was a great team. He thought me an idiot.

I may very well be an idiot but it is my opinion that great teams don't let average teams score 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter before beating them in overtime. Mizzou has had a good season but let's dismiss this notion that they are a great team.

They took advantage of two very banged up teams in Georgia and Florida, and almost did the same thing to a banged up South Carolina team before Connor Shaw came in and worked his 4th quarter magic.

That was a coaching error.
Missouri's secondary was getting torched last night. Missouri would have been better off putting all their players in the end zone or double covering the receiving targets than that.

I think Mizzou is a very good team. But so is South Carolina. Both team had some injuries. Injuries are part of football.

I'm saying a lot of obvious statements this morning apparently.

FWIW, Mizzou fans, watching South Carolina come back and beat you like they did was basically deja vu from our game last year.
