If (and that's a big if) Aubuie comes in with one loss?
*My bad on the thread title.

I would say the same

How are we undefeated with one loss?

10-1 vs. 11-0 would be for ATL. Auburn had already clinched in 2010

How the hell is AU undefeated in 2013 with a loss to LSU?
BIG Iron Bowl yes...but your header and comments don't make sense.

If it's Alabama 11-0 v. Auburn 10-1, this year would be bigger.
2010 Auburn had already clenched the West. It was big for BCSCG implications for Auburn obviously.
This year it would be just as big for BCSCG implications (most likely for Alabama this time) AND it would be for the West.

undefeated AU does not compute.

Personally, I think it is doubtful we make it the rest of the way without dropping a game. Hell, we could lose 2, would not shock me at all.
If it did happen though, the answer is second biggest IB ever. Only behind 1989 which will never be toppped even if both teams were undefeated.

2010 wasn't that big, no bigger than 08, 09, 11, or 12.
One team had national championship hopes and had Atlanta already clinched, the other was trying to play spoiler.
This year would technically be "bigger" because while Alabama would have national title hopes Auburn would not just be playing spoiler and would actually be contending for the West.

Funny Auburn fans remember 1989, which Alabama entered with a share of the SEC title already clinched, but forget 1994, the only time to do date the West was directly won/lost in the Iron Bowl.
Bama entered 10-0 and Auburn entered 9-0-1
Both teams also had perfect records in 1971, 10-0 vs. 9-0
Yeah Bama won that one too.

I was CLEARLY wrong about Auburn before the season, I did not think they would win an SEC game this year again. Regardless. They will probably go 1-1 with Ark and Tenn and lose to UGA but I would not be surprised if they won all three

The rain game was considered a non factor when determining AU's record.

You know what I meant about 11, the SEC title wasn't at stake at all.
Auburn loves to obsess on 2 years they've successfully played spoiler and forget about the dozens of times their spoiler aspirations fail.
Alabama gives Auburn a lot of attempts to mess up our title runs.
Sadly Auburn doesn't give Alabama that many opporutinities to play spoiler.

This one would be bigger. If AU would win, they'd probably have an outside shot at playing for the BCSCG if Oregon or FSU were to lose.
1989 was my first memory of the Iron Bowl. That game still gives me nightmares so I'm dreading how hostile JHS would be if it were for the West.
