It would save them a lot of embarrassment.

Will you follow my lead if I gnaw on some arsenic?

God I hate that pussy move. They're throwing a temper tantrum because they suck and their ride isn't as cool as the bigger kids. If I was their AD I would kick everyone of them off the team and have open tryouts first thing on Monday.

Who would ever think this kind of shite would happen at Grambling?

I love it. This is what Arky football has come to.

No Grambling should follow Bama's lead and let the players do what they want.. Might be playing tomorrow.

Might as well. They are already following them in all time winning percentage 59.2 to 68.6.

Just going by second hand knowledge. Scruffy hasn't been paying that much attention to it.
Possible misappropriation of funds, kickbacks, amongst other things. It sounds like the administration is corrupt. We'll see how it plays out.

If you go read about it, it's pretty serious for the players. Complaints about safety, and busing from Louisiana to Indianapolis and not being fed.

There was a major power struggle between the former coach and the AD. The result of which was new flooring for the weight room being put in storage instead of in the weight room. Apparently a former players group paid for the flooring and the AD wanted the donations to funnel through the athletic foundation. Bad situation and I honestly don't know if I blame the kids one bit.

This. Why are these athletes riding busses on 1500 mile round trips to football games for which the school is being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars? They get their asses kicked and a shitty bus ride home.

On a more serious note, I think Arkansas should entertain the idea of joining the Big 12. Their program has basically been in a downward spiral since leaving the SWC and the Texas recruits that came with it...A&M joining the SEC definitely helps them, but imagine if they could have annual games against Baylor, TCU, Tech, UT, plus A&M, whose already locked in at Jerryworld for 10 years.
I think this may be the only card they have left to play at this point. Like OU, they live and die by Texas recruiting, since their own state produces about as many quality D1 football players as places like South Dakota and Idaho, who don't even have "BCS" schools.
The Texas recruiting boost plus being in the weakest of the "BCS" conferences would result in consistent 9-10 win seasons, and rejuvenate interest in the football program.
Unlike the hard feelings shown toward A&M and Mizzou for leaving the Big 12, I don't think SEC members would fault Arkansas for making this move, nor blackball them from future OOC schedules. With the new playoff era on the horizon, SEC schools needs mid-tier BCS schools (i.e. Oregon State, Purdue, Rutgers, Central Florida, Arkansas, etc) on their OOC schedule instead of the next tier down (La Monroe, Sam Houston State, etc). Arkansas' geographic proximity to A&M, LSU, Bama and even Mizzou would make them easy to continue playing.
In summary, its a win win for everyone.
