My uncle played for the Hogs on that team, I've even got a ball signed by the team that says National Champions on it so it must be true.

LINK

If we are laying claim to National Titles that we were not awarded then I here by claim the 1960 National Title in which Mizzou went 11-0 and the 8-2 Minnesota Gophers were wrongly awarded it.

Well, the 1964 AP and Coaches' poll trophies are sitting in Tuscaloosa so... there's that.

Alabama claims some dubious Natties, but this one is 100% legit... Arkie can also claim it, but everyone knows that Bama was the champs in 64.

Not a chance, the rightful owner of that is Ole Miss

Makes me laugh when people post this kind of crap!!! take away all the "fictional" titles that you say we have and we still have you beat like what....10 - 1

Amazingly, that very same fact is what makes me also laugh. Alabama has more legitimate national championships than anybody else, yet still clings to the fraudulent number, whatever it is up to now, because being legitimately better isn't good enough, they've gotta be waaaaayyyyy better!

Texas played both teams in 1964. Lost to Arkansas and beat Bama in Orange Bowl. Arkansas is the legitimate NC for 1964 regardless of trophy location.

Btw, the Bear could never beat Darrel Royal - went 0-4 vs Texas.

Arkansas beat Texas and went 11-0.

Alabama lost to Texas and went 10-1.

Simple.

Congrats, Bama has 7 of those FWAA trophies. We also have 9 AP, including 1964; 8 coaches/UPI, including 1964; 7 NFF MacArthur trophies; 4 crystal balls, etc, etc.
