what's that website where you run simulated games between teams from different years?

Yea, 2010 Auburn should be no lower than #2. I would put them #1.

Sadly, 2004 Auburn was probably better than every team in your list

Bama 2011 first
Tennessee 1998 last
the rest feel free to debate

It's whatifsports.com or something like that.
How about this revolutionary concept, I rank them all tied for one. SEC SEC SEC!

2010 Auburn would wreck 2012 Alabama
I'd have 2011 Alabama #1 if that title was in any way legitimate.

They were pretty good, but they had their scares too. I wish they could have been tested by USC or OU instead of gimp Beamer Ball where you guys failed to make a statement.

The 1980 Dawgs, saw several of of their games in the pressbox. Lewis and Furman were also in there.
The 1961 Gumps will always be my second favorite. Trammel at quarterback. "If he stays in bounds, Leroy will get him."

people will get hung up on style (several close wins) but how can people rank that team below teams that actually lost a game?
and, as mentioned above... west was absolutely brutal that year.

Isn't this week the big rival game for y'all?
The one that no one can do without?
Why aren't you talking bout that?

No way, they weren't particularly great that year, they were lucky they got left out of the title game, USC would have anhilated them.
I do think that Auburn 2004 > Auburn 2010 though.
Auburn 2010 was not a dominant team at all, they scrapped by 4-5 games and needed tremendous luck.
All championship teams get lucky, but some are on overload (like Ohio State 2002)

You're right - it was clear after that game LSU had no business being in it.
